CEUD MILE FAILTE

This is the Gaelic for one hundred thousand welcomes, which describes the warmth of the welcome that any visitor to the Highlands can expect, and no where more so than at The Inn at Ardgour.

The original 'Road to the Isles' was over the Corran Narrows and at the top of the ferry slipway on the Ardnamurchan side of Loch Linnhe lies the old Inn at Ardgour.
Hospitality has been offered here to travellers for hundreds of years and although the building has recently been altered, the traditional welcome is still the same.

For centuries, travellers have enjoyed the famous West Highland Welcome at this family-run inn at the entrance to the Great Glen.
We have ten excellent en-suite bedrooms, five on the ground floor; and all bedrooms have spectacular views of Loch Linnhe.
The Inn is ideally located for Walking, Fishing and Touring the West Highlands. Even the Hebridean islands of Mull, Iona and Skye are close enough for day trips.

Good company can be found in our bars where fine beer, and an extensive choice of malt whiskies can be enjoyed: but be careful, our drams are 35ml. measures.

The Inn at Ardgour is easy to find, located at the top of the slipway to the Corran Ferry on the shore of Loch Linnhe.
If coming from the south, take the A82 trunk road out of Glasgow, through Dumbarton, up past Loch Lomond and through Glen Coe. Coming out of Glen Coe, the A82 leads up towards Fort William. 2 miles (3km) after the village of Onich, a short road to the left branches off to the Corran Ferry slipway.

A few minutes ferry crossing across Loch Linnhe takes you to the door of the
Ardgour Inn.
The ferry ploughs to and fro across the narrows every half an hour, from around 7am and 9pm (8pm winter).
