is set well back from the B2178 in 1/3 acre pleasant and productive organic garden. We are just minutes away from Chichester and several popular local attractions. Our village is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the South Downs National Park, surrounded by pleasant lanes and footpaths. Close to Downs, Kingley Vale National Nature Reserve, West Stoke, Fishbourne Roman Palace, Bosham Village & Harbour, Weald & Downland Open Air Museum, Singleton, West Dean Gardens, Stansted Park, Chichester Cathedral, Chichester Festival & Minerva Theatres, Goodwood House, Goodwood horse race course and Goodwood motor racing circuit.

2 mins walk, several others within a few minutes drive.

2 off-road private parking places at front of house reserved for Guest's cars.

At Bosham roundabout, follow signs to East Ashling. At T-Junction turn right and next left into Mouthey's Lane. At the end of the lane turn left and Englewood is on your left.
From Chichester
Take the B2178 Funtington Road. East Ashling is 3 miles. Englewood is on your left.
From Midhurst
Take A286 to Lavant. At Lavant Church turn right and follow road via West Stoke next to T-Junction with B2178. Turn left. Englewood is on your right 2nd entrance beyond Sandy lane.

Whether your interest is touring, sightseeing, bird watching, walking country paths, the Downs or a section of the 30 miles of Chichester Harbour paths, Englewood, East Ashling is an excellent starting point.
Walkers and Cyclists welcomed.
Directions and maps are available for 8 circular walks from the house between 2 and 7 miles. So, whether you just want a gentle stroll to take in some of the country air, a walk to the next village for a drink / meal at the pub, explore the nearby National Nature Reserve Trail at Kingley Vale to see the 1,000 year old Yew Forest with 30,000 trees or climb to the top of the Downs to see the Bronze Age Tombs called The Devil's Humps and take in the stunning views, there is something for everyone.
The South Coast Cycle Path is close by and there are routings available for riders to take the Centurion Way cycle path from Fishbourne via Lavant to West Dean and Singleton. At Fishbourne cyclists can access the newly developed cycle path - Salterns Way - right through to the mouth of the Harbour at East head.
Bike Hire available locally.
Accessibility: Level path from parking area to entrance (small step). B&B accommodation and dining room all at ground level (regret no wheelchair access) Englewood is best suited to guests arriving by own transport. Just minutes from Chichester by road. Public transport (Stagecoach 54) infrequent. Taxis are readily available. Bosham station 1.3 miles via country lanes, no public transport available.
