The 27 Bedroom Hotel has a Range of Classic Double, Twin and Family Rooms, along with a Junior Suite and 10 Executive Bedrooms. All bedrooms are modern, tastefully furnished and individually designed. All our rooms have private en-suite bathrooms, hospitality trays, hairdryers, free wi-fi, satellite TV and a selection of quality toiletries. Our executive rooms have the added extras of bathrobes, slippers, iron and board, flat screen 32” LCD TVs and DVD player.

These spacious modern Executive Guest Rooms are situated on the Canal Wing of the hotel, offering Super King size beds with the option of twin beds if required, all executive rooms have panoramic views of Ben Nevis, Caledonian Canal, and Aonach Mor range.

Breakfast in the Moorings Hotel is included in the room rate and is not to be missed. Breakfast includes a European style continental Buffet including fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, pastries, cheeses, cold meats followed by a full Scottish Breakfast cooked fresh from our kitchen. Our experienced team of chefs create fine dining menus using the very best of local produce, including fresh west coast seafood, venison, salmon and Highland game. Open to both residents and non-residents, Neptune's Restaurant offers an enticing selection for all tastes, complemented by an interesting choice of wines from around the world from our carefully chosen wine list. We also offer a fine selection of malt whisky and liqueurs to be enjoyed with your after dinner coffee and petit fours.

Extremely popular with locals and visitors alike, our Upper Deck Lounge Bar is informal and relaxing. Beautifully designed on a split level with wood panelling and stained glass, it offers a large selection of wines, malts, liqueurs, spirits and beers - including Deuchars real ale.

From these wonderful surroundings you can have an appetising meal from our seasonally prepared bar menu, which offers a wide variety of dishes - including extremely tempting desserts, which along with our daily changing specials are served throughout the day. In the summer months our secluded garden patio is a delightful place to relax and watch the boats go by.

From the North

Follow the A82 from Inverness to Fort William.

Turn right at first set of traffic lights at the Ben Nevis Distillery along the A830 Mallaig road for approx 1 mile, cross the canal bridge then take the first right (sign posted Banavie).

The Moorings Hotel is just along the road on the right.





From the South

>Leave the M8 and cross Erskine Bridge then join A82 all the way to Fort William.

Follow the sign for Mallaig turn left at lights onto A830 Mallaig road for approx 1 mile, cross the canal bridge then take the first right (sign posted Banavie).
